Premium tonewoods and meticulous craftsmanship form a harmonious relationship that has made Eastman's name in the archtop guitar market. The choice of woods and the time honored processes followed to craft these guitars create an organically acoustic tone that is unrivaled. Chords are full and complex while single notes are crisp and well defined. The gold and ebony fittings provide form and function and the traditional finish is as beautiful as it is functional.
This
purely acoustic model pays homage to the legendary archtop guitars of
the pre-war era (i.e. Lloyd Loar Gibson L5, Epiphone Emperor, Stromberg
Master 400, etc.) Light weight and resonant, this all acoustic model
will blow the doors off any acoustic jam without amplification of any
kind. It's the perfect guitar for swing, Gypsy jazz, fingerstyle jazz,
or any genre which requires the rich and satisfying tone of an exquisitely
built acoustic guitar.

Eastman AR805-SB Acoustic Archtop
I would recommend Django.com without qualification. Michael and his team of techs did a great job of modifying the Eastman 805-SB I recently purchased. I had the Benedetto-style tail piece replaced and fret dots, a 30s-style pick guard (from Archtop.com), and strap buttons added. All of the work was done as asked, and it looks fabulous. The guitar plays great and resonates like nobody's business--really impressive. Unless you're willing to spend quite a bit on a vintage or luthier-built archtop, the Eastman 805 is probably the best all-acoustic alternative out there.

Same thickness as the GP250 but smaller over all dimensions. Provides better control with out losing tone. Seems to work nicely on shorter scale guitars. 27.5 mm long, 23.3 mm wide, 2.5 mm thick. (two per pack).
Learn jazz rhythm guitar. Book/CD pack includes: sample songs, patterns, progressions, and excercises; essential chord voicings, inversions, and substitutions; info on time, groove and reading charts; a chord reference library; and over 50 full-demo samples on CD. Lead sheet format. 80 pp.
