1997 Ramirez 2CWE "Marcel Dadi" ***NEW PRICE***
This electro-acoustic nylon string guitar
was built in Spain by the legendary Ramirez workshop. The Ramirez family
needs no introduction as they have been the benchmark for classical
guitars for over three generations. Ramirez guitars have found their way
into the hands of such luminaries as Andres Segovia, Christopher
Parkening, and even Sting.
This model was built to the specs of
the French guitar virtuoso Marcel Dadi. Optimized for live
performance, it includes a Fishman pickup system that is wired to a
treble bout mounted preamp which includes EQ and gain controls. The
cutaway allows for high fret access that is necessary for jazz, latin,
and other popular styles.
The top is fashioned from red cedar
while the back and sides are laminate rosewood. Acoustically the
instrument is warm, with a full bodied tone and impressive projection.
The amplified sound is smooth, with good definition and is quite
feedback resistant which allows for high volume performances.
This
instrument has been remarkably well cared for. There are few large
scratches under on the top near the low E string and few other smaller
scratches on the top and back. Otherwise it is very clean and almost new
looking.
This instrument has everything you need for your next
gig and is surprisingly affordable considering it's prestigious
pedigree.
