2006 Park Encore

Shelley Park needs no introduction. Over the past decade she has earned a reputation as one of the top makers of Selmer style guitars. Her guitars are known for their impeccable workmanship, aesthetic beauty, and warm satisfying tone. This guitar is no exception.

The Modèle Encore features Selmer dimensions: 670mm scale, 15 7/8" lower bout, and a 4" body depth. The top is European spruce and the back and sides are made of solid, flamed European maple. The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard has the modern "dotless" look, with positioning markers placed only on the side.

This guitar is outfitted with a set of Schaller three on a plate tuners and a DR tailpiece. This custom model also includes a soundport on the upper bass bout which allows for better monitoring by redirecting some of the guitars sound back to the player

This instrument is wonderfully balanced, with just enough high end response to give lead lines some "bite" and chords some "chrunch." These qualities are paired with an exceptionally strong and robust midrange that adds body and character to anything you play. This instrument is great choice for someone who is looking for a versatile, modern sounding Gypsy guitar that is at home playing pure Gypsy jazz, modern jazz, and even folk!

This instrument is in excellent condition, with just some light fret wear and hardly a scratch on it!
