Hi all,

Does anyone have the fingering Bireli uses on the opening chords of Nuages on the Live in Paris dvd (the slightly dissonant chords)? I'm missing something...

Thanks,
Jack.

That's pretty similar to what I've been playing...I feel like there are more bass notes in what Bireli is playing, e.g.:

    -----
    -6----
    -6----
    -10----
    -10---
    -----

I'll go back to the dvd to see what else I can pick up...thanks!

    Best,
    Jack.

Uh oh - pretty wide stretches there. Are those from the book 'Klingonian chords of pain and torture"?

My hands are not really small, yet these chords provide me with a challenge.

    Something for the holidays...

    Hey Jack,

the second chord should have a 13, not a 5, ie

    x
    6
    6
    10
    10
    x

the bass note is the only note that changes. The movement is the sus4 resolving to 3, but sounds cool because that is happening in the bass.
