Schertler offers two preamplifiers, each with Class-A constant current technology to provide stable power to the system and, in some cases, to the instrument transducer. Both the STAT-PRE and PRE-A II were conceived and designed to provide the highest level of audiophile performance in demanding on-stage applications. STAT-PRE allows control of instrument volume, while PRE-A II has a variety of equalization controls to further tailor individual sounds.
The Schertler STAT-PRE preamplifier is the perfect choice for use with the Schertler series of electrostatic transducers for classic string instruments. Versatile and easy to use, STAT-PRE provides volume control in a compact package. An innovative sub-bass filter protects the house system, or your on-stage amplifier, from distortion or potentially harmful signals caused by low-frequency spikes. Class-A constant-current design ensures faithful sound reproduction while providing up to 500 hours of playing time from a single 9-volt battery.
