2012 Dell’Arte Hommage Custom Short Scale

Dell Arte's Hommage model has long been considered one of the best Favino copies available. Handmade in San Diego by John Kinnard, this model features a cedar top, a walnut neck, and an ebony fingerboard. It has been fitted with a set of three on a plate Schaller nickel tuners and a nickel DR tailpiece. A bigtone pickup is also included (a $400 value!) This custom variation of the classic Hommage model features a short, 650mm scale and a 12 fret neck.

The tone of this instrument is very warm and dark, with a rich, rounded bass response and thick, flowing mids. This guitar's big, thick sound is best suited to unaccompanied playing and/or rhythm work. If you find the more typical long scale Gypsy guitars sound too brash or are too hard to play, then this easy playing, well balanced instrument would be a great choice.

This instrument is in excellent condition, with just some light fret wear and a bit of finish checking on the top.
