Acus Sound Engineering developed the One for Strings range to amplify the sound level of all acoustic instruments (notably acoustic and classical guitars) without altering their natural tone or resonance.  One for Strings amps are designed in minimalist style, with custom speakers, cabinets and highly reliable electronic components, all together capable of amplifying harmonics with natural tone. One for Strings can also be used as a mini PA system. It is versatile and responsive, with a full range of functions specifically tailored for acoustic instruments.

Perfect for gigging, practice or recording, the Acus One for Strings 5T Simon Acoustic Guitar Amp is a 75-watt combo that comes fitted with a 5" woofer and a compression tweeter. The dual channel design allows you to plug in your acoustic instrument and a microphone simultaneously. The One for Strings 5T Simon is equipped with two separate inputs (one Mic-Line and one Line), with controls for Gain/Volume, 3-Band EQ, Effect Send and Master Volume. The dedicated AUX input (with its own volume) allows for connecting an mp3 player or iPod. The system also features an electronically balanced direct output, 40W woofer power, electronic crossover, 5-in. woofer size and 2-way bass reflex.

The compact and lightweight speaker cabinet is handmade in natural wood, emphasizing the minimalist design and look of Acus products. It is birch ply with a protective polyester top coat. Easy to carry, highly versatile, and uncompromising sound quality! The Simon version is a limited edition version of the Acus One for Strings 5T amplifier, distinguished from the standard model by the housing made from specially selected wood with tilt function and black chrome front grill.
