Benedetto B6 Standard Mount Humbucker (6 String)

I wanted to significantly alter the sound of my Gretsch Electromatic 5120 by replacing the stock Gretschbucker pickups. Both neck and bridge pickups were replaced with Benedetto B-6, about a two hour job. Although I haven't had a lot of time to play, my first impressions are that these are ideal jazz pickups: they produce a warm, rich, deep, mellow sound, with a very smooth and even response across all strings. The Ebonova finish is also very elegant. My only issue is that I may need to replace the humbucker mounting rings taken from the original pickups with taller ones, at least in the bridge position. But otherwise the pickups are just what I wanted.
