This is the only Hommage I've ever seen with Palo Escrito back and sides. Palo Escrito is a variant of rosewood grown in Mexico. It is lighter weight then conventional rosewood and yields a rounded, yet cutting high end. For this reason it has become very popular for flamenco guitars. Consequently, this Hommage has one of the most bell like, singing high ends of any Dell'Arte we've had. This highly figured, gorgeous wood is doing it's job well!
