The DPA 4088 is a miniature cardioid headband microphone designed for low profile use on stage, in broadcast studios, video shoots, etc. The sleek, low profile frame features a cardioid, pre-polarized condenser element that delivers a wide frequency response and transparent, accurate audio reproduction that's suitable for the most demanding applications.
The cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and audio at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The result minimizes feedback and residual noise caused by ambiance and adjacent signal sources. The wide frequency response results in detailed audio reproduction and high SPL handling minimizes distortion and signal peaks. The sleek, adjustable headband provides a comfortable inconspicuous fit and the attached cable measures 5.9' (1.8 m) with a MicroDot terminated connection.
