Gorgeous tailpiece and very high quality. Please note if installing on a Dupont Nomade you will need to drill out the bottom hole for the end pin strap button. If you don't have a drill press I suggest having a luthier install it for you.

This tailpiece is amazing. I feel like the quality of the metal really helped with my guitars... hum... it's original tailpiece vibrated occasionally and this one never does. It also looks stunning! I purchased it in silver.

Dupont DR Tailpiece

This DR tailpiece is hand made in Dupont's shop in Cognac France and is used on all of Dupont's flagship models as well as by top luthiers like Bob Holo. These DR tailpieces are actually made using the original equipment that Busato used back in the 30s-50s! How cool is that? It is the strongest tailpiece available. We've never seen one fail. Additionally, it mutes unwanted overtones which are a problem with some of the lower quality tailpieces.
