Pros: Cannot comment on electrical behaviour.
Cons: Surperb acoustic Steel/Silk
I've used these strings on many different types of acoustic guitars ( not just the Selmer) and always they improve the acoustic tones of every guitar I've put them on ( about 12 Different models) several from specialist Luthiers.
Apart from needing neck, nut and bridge to allow for the lighter tensions and gauges -> they are superb for pick and finger playing. Last well ( and I can be very heavy handed), responsive to attack and sustain. But best of all they allow subtle vibrato, and clear mixing of chordal and melody lines on fast passages.
When played with slow intent they give overtones I just have not found with the much more expensive NON-gypsy strings. --> really a work horse set of strings that acoustically outshine so many more bigger names.
Superb and I have stuck with them for a long time now with occasional forays into other brands --> just to check.
