This mystery guitar was hand made in North America by an accomplished luthier. It is a prototype with some minor shop wear. A few small scratches and tiny dings are all that separate it from a completely new guitar. A guitar of this quality would normally sell for well over $3000. Here's an opportunity to save big on a great hand made guitar!
The top is cedar (a personal favorite of mine!), the back and sides are sappelli (African Mahogany), and the neck is mahogany. The fingerboard is ebony.
The dimensions are those you'd expect of a Selmer copy: 15 3/4" body, 670mm scale, 1 3/4" nut.
It has the robust, aged tone you'd expect from a cedar top guitar. It is very loud, with an open, cathedral like sound. It has a very mature high end, the sort you'd normally find on vintage instruments. Very crisp with cutting leads. Action is very comfortable at 3mm with 11 gauge Argentine strings.
All in all, an amazing deal for someone looking for a North American handmade guitar at Asian guitar prices!
Faux leather Golden Gate deluxe hardshell case included.
