This mystery guitar was hand made in North America by an accomplished luthier. It is a prototype with some minor shop wear. A few small scratches and tiny dings are all that separate it from a completely new guitar. A guitar of this quality would normally sell for well over $3000. Here's an opportunity to save big on a great hand made guitar!
The top is spruce, the back and sides are Indian rosewood, and the neck is walnut. The binding and fingerboard are ebony.
The dimensions are: 15 3/4" body, 662mm scale, 1 3/4" nut. The shorter scale neck joins the body at the 13 1/2 fret.
The tone is very balanced and warm, with gently rounded trebles and some nice midrange depth. It is a relatively dry guitar, with some nice crunch when you need it. There is a soundport in the upper treble bout. It functions as a sort of "monitor." Makes it very easy to hear yourself play, especially in noisy jam situations.
Plays very easily with 2.8mm action and 11 gauge Argentine strings.
Black Golden Gate deluxe hardshell case included.
