The MICRO 7 dimensions are 11.2" x 9.7" x 9.8" and will work on any AC voltage from 100 to 260 Volts without the need of a selector. Other features include Class D amplification, highly efficient and proprietary PJB 7-inch speaker and a 3” high frequency transducer, solid kick proof acoustically transparent curved steel grill, stereo headphone input, bass/mid/treble controls, auxiliary input and level control, and preamp line out. The frequency response is 36Hz -22KHz with a Signal to Noise Ratio Better than 84dB (EQ center, Volume on Full.)
Phil Jones Bass has been building bass amplifiers for the most demanding of bassists. Phil thought it was about time that a bass amp that delivered the true tone of a bass instrument, like you have never heard before with one major difference. It would be the most affordable bass amp yet. Phil Jones Bass engineers looked into the most efficient way they could build an amp without sacrificing the most important aspect: Tone!
The MICRO 7 uses the same high level of quality parts that musicians have come to expect on all PJB products. The goal was to achieve the highest level in tone quality at an unbeatable price with the result being the ultimate sounding practice amp for the home, and compact enough to go anywhere.
The one super high-efficiency and proprietary 7-inch speakers were designed by Phil Jones to get the most of the 50 watts class D amplifier. These amazing woofers are complimented by the company's high energy 3-inch high-frequency transducer. They have used this speaker in thousands of PA speakers and have proven to be blowout proof. The response of this speaker system is of the highest fidelity from 36Hz to 22KHz and that means it does not only sound great with bass but any instrument that plugs into it.
By using all digital circuitry, the amp will work on any AC voltage from 100 to 260 Volts without the need of a selector. Digital circuits are far more efficient than the old analog counterparts, and the benefit is less wasted power as heat, thus giving the amp a greater longevity. Heat is an amplifier's worst enemy since it slowly kills electronic components.
PJB did not skimp on quality of parts either; they just reduced down to the basic needs of most bass players. To ensure longevity PJB equipped this amp with a solid kick proof acoustically transparent, curved steel grill. This amp uses the same level of quality parts found on all PJB amps.
