Medium gauge Argentine strings usually sound best on long scale Selmer style guitars (670mm or longer) with lower action or short scale guitars (640mm).
Most Selmer style tailpieces will take both loop end or ball end strings. There is no difference in sound or playability between the two.
Pyramid 11s are great!
Pros: Stable, loud, good tension
Cons: G string needed a little extra tightening on the winding
The G string needed a little tightening up (CCW from bridge) on the winding but after that the strings were super stable, loud and very balanced across all strings. These blew away my previous Argentine sets (which the quality has been hit and miss for me) and are a bit cheaper. Try a set! I used these on my Dupont Nomade. Definitely getting more...
