Pros: Sound great. Feel great.
Cons: They do wear out eventually.
I use Wegen BigCity picks for my electric (Gretsch Tennessee Rose), but for my 1946 Gibson L50, the buffalo horn picks are the best. Big warm tone. Because I've played mostly electric for the past 35 years (acoustic before that, back in the days of Fender medium break'em-every-gig picks), I have a very light touch. These John Pearse sarod picks coax a beautiful tone out of the Gibby, so I can maintain my light touch. Love'em.
