A Simple And Easy Way Of Amplifying Your Autoharp

The AD-01 Player is a powerful, low profile pickup that was specifically designed for the autoharp. The pickup sensor attaches quickly and easily to the instrument using the double sided tape supplied with each pickup.

The output jack mounts from a supplied hanging clip to the area around the string anchors. The pickup is non-invasive and may be mounted to an instrument without damage to the instrument.

This pickup has been designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any 'normal' amp (guitar amp, bass amp, etc.). As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. If you require the added ability to be able to plug directly into a P.A. or mixer then you may wish to add either one of our new Mini Pre belt clipable preamps or one of our Preamp/DI units to your pickup system.

The AD-01 is a 1/4" high, low profile pickup. On many instruments the pickup sensor can be mounted on the soundboard of the instrument right under the strings if there is enough clearance. Or it may be mounted on the underside of the top or on the inside back or outside back of the instrument depending upon access and sound quality.

The pickup comes complete and ready to use. It is prewired to a 1/4" output jack that is easily mounted to the string anchor block with the supplied clip and small screw.

This passive pickup is designed to work properly and to sound good when plugged into a 'normal' electic guitar amp. For more information on amplification click on the 'About Pickups, Preamps, Amps' tab.
