This guitar is nothing short of a dream come true! A brand new 2010 Selmer replica guitar built with meticulous adherence to the original 1940s models. 

No detail was overlooked in the construction of this guitar. Hardware, label, headstock logo, woods, bracing, binding, etc are all indistinguishable from the originals. This guitar features Indian Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, and a Walnut neck. The top has a real pliage just like the old Selmers do. This guitar was also skillfully antiqued to give it the look and feel of 1940s era Selmer.

This guitar was given the serial #844 which is conveniently blank in the Selmer log book.

This wonderful replica has a classic sound to match its vintage good looks.  The gently rounded highs, warm midrange, and present, growling lowend take you right back to golden age of jazz manouche. When playing Django's music on this instrument you'd swear the original recording is playing along with you...all the subtleties of good Selmer tone are there.

While this guitar looks and sounds old, it plays like a modern precision instrument. Action is set at a slinky 2.7mm and it is strung with 11 gauge Argentines. All the beauty of an old instrument without the quirks of a vintage one....
