The Elan model features a short 640mm scale, 15 3/4 " lower bout, and a 4" body depth.  The top is Cedar, which yields a very clear, bell like tone. The back and sides are made of highly figured cherry. The neck is made of mahogany

The action is currently medium low and is strung with Argentine 10 light gauge strings. Playability is excellent...this guitar could easily take higher action and/or heavier strings and still be very easy to play. The guitar is an excellent condition with almost no signs of wear.
