This oval hole model is based on Django’s Selmer #503, with 4 top braces just like Django's unique guitar. This design yields the warm full tone that Django's was famous for! Additionally, the top was heat bent just like the original Selmers were which gives the guitar a faster, springier attack. Heat bent tops are usually only found on high priced flagship models like the Dupont Vieille Reserve so this an amazing feature for a guitar in this price range!
