On non-bronze strings, these are my faves. They produce that "jangle" that speaks 1930s so well. Love 'em, can't live without 'em. Wish they were a bit cheaper - it's just plastic, for goodness sake! But they have the "grip" (they don't slide - stick lightly to your thumb/finger) and the bevel to slide off the strings fast. Try one if you comp shells - you'll dig it.
