Greetings Everyone,

I’m announcing the new Community Gypsy Jazz Guitar Archive! This will be a place were everyone can upload images of their guitars along with specs and other descriptive data. I hope that it will be a great way for everyone to share information about their instruments as well as to preserve them for posterity.

I kicked it off by adding a few guitars that I’ve owned over the years. Let’s get the ball rolling by getting some more content up there! I’ve got categories setup for all the major luthiers as well some of the Asian manufacturers like Gitane and Altamira. If you have a guitar by a maker that isn’t listed, let me know and I’ll add it.

It would be nice to get bios written up for each of the luthiers listed. Anyone who wants to write one up can submit it to me for $50 DjangoBooks store credit.
