Bought it from Maurice Ferret in Paris.Maurice is the gipsy guitarplayer ,who for years-and-years, used to play on the corner on place du Tertre(Paris) in ‘au clairon du chasseur’ together with Jacques Pouville who used to accompany him.Maurice saw Reinier and me playing on te terrasses on place du Tertre (mont Martre). ‘The playing is OK’,he said, ‘but the guitar could be better. I have some nice-one’s back home.’ The next day I visited him in his flat in Montreuil ,played the guitar, quickly went home to Amsterdam to get the money and went straight back to Paris to buy it. The guitar has a deep strong voice.
