Cigano neck too thin, is the DG255 any better?

I had just about decided to order a Gitane DG255 or DG250 when I read that the necks are rather thin. Are they any thicker than my Cigano CJ10? The Cigano has the thinnest neck I have ever seen in 30 years of playing guitars. I don't mind a thin neck but the Cigano borders on the ridiculous. Would a 200 series Gitane be an improvement? (The 300 hundred series isn't really an option for me)

Thanks

The Gitanes are pretty thin as well... Only the Jorgenson has a good thick neck
I agree that's the Saga's biggest defect... I even wrote an email to them once telling them all about it... They replied with something like "thank you for your interest"

Thanks. I guess the hunt for a decent Gypsy Jazz guitar continues. It's frustrating that it is so difficult.
