Did Django ever cover this? If so, can anyone post an mp3?

    It's on Integrale vol.8, which I don't have...so no mp3 from me. Here's the listing, though:

    Valaida Snow (tp and vo)
    Django Reinhardt (g)

    Paris, June 30th

    Bei mir bist du schon
    St-Louis blues

There's also a Hans'che version on MDZ5 that includes the verse music, which is woefully underplayed.
    Best,
    Jack.

You can find it also in a 10 CD set named "Djangology":

    A very good value IMO

It seems that Django also was playing in the Wal-Berg Orchestra for the recording of Léo Marjane's rendition of the tune

I was referring to the Musik Deutscher Zigeuner series of albums-a great body of work, and available in the shop here. Check it out!

    best,
    Jack.
