hi, i read a post that i cant find now where someone said that the part of georgia brown where the chords descend chromatically- g7 f#7 f7 e7, is a sub for the ii-V-I progression.did i remember that correctly, and would someone be able to extrapolate on this. thanks.

    It's not a sub for the ii-V- I. In fact it is followed by II-V-I to end the chorus.

    The published chords for the two bars you're asking about are G /// | G, B7b5, E7 / | with the bass going G F E.
