Hi everyone,
PLEASE come out and support local NYC gypsy jazz (and other music) this Wednesday night (april 19) at the sidewalk cafe (ave a and 6th street in Manhattan) there is a donation, and its going to be a great early set starting at 7.30pm. We are borrowing Cathy Harley on bass this week, and Tom will be playing lead, Monica on fiddle, Eve singing, and I'm playing rhythm, as always for our shows- there will be special guests. The two bands following us are great as well, The Monkeyshine 9 is a large (9+) peice band of big easy enthusiasts who love to play jazz, second line and other great music- a fun loud jazzy party band. Following them will be former Swing Gitan guitarist John Eichleay performing his own compositions. Its going to be a great night, and we hope you can all come out . . .
