Day of Django Preston UK June 8th
I'm very excited to be part of a special Day of Django at the first Preston Jazz and Improvisation Festival. This will include the first UK showing outside London of Etienne Comar's great, moving film Django as well as two free gigs by Lewis and Dav before the film and Michael Joseph Harris with special guest Daniel John Martin after, with a late night jam to follow. All kicks off at 5pm at the Ferret on Fylde Road in Preston and everything is free except the film, which costs £10. Tickets can be bought on the door or in advance from www.prestonjazzfest.co.uk.
This will be the only chance many of us over here will get to see the film on the big screen! Not to be missed!
