Cool idea, and probably works and sounds great through an amp or sound system, but I have to wonder how it affects the acoustic tone and volume of your guitar? How well does the pickup itself transfer sound?

Same idea as the famous "Realist" pickup used on double basses...

It's also the same idea as the PUTW pickup, which I hated. I have tried other K&K pickups that sounded pretty good though.
