This one sounds so much like Django's tone on the Rome Sessions!
Has a very chimey sound. I can understand when Django said Selmer guitars sound like a grand piano compared to the American archtop. Assuming this is a close approximation of what it would've sounded like brand new. And this Holo still available...
Talk about chimey, a long time ago I had a later-40s Selmer (another story!). Argentines didn't exist in the U.S., so I used bronze strings (no one here knew any better). The guitar almost whistled, it was so chimey, overtones constantly.
