Hey everyone. I wanted to start this section of the forum off with a message, and a little about me. First off My name is Caleb and I am very happy (not to mention feel very lucky) to be moderating this section. I am hoping this section can serve as an information area for newbies about practice materials, guitars, recordings and general begining techniques or problems with said techniques. I also hope those of you that are more advanced in this style will contribute to help beginers(including myself)

A little about me, I am currently a Jazz guitar student at Florida State University. I am from right here in Tallahassee and hope to be bringing some much needed Gypsy Jazz to this little beer soaked, football loving college rock strangled town.
I hope this will be an informative forum for everyone involved.

Oh Yeah, thanks again to Michael Horowitz for asking me to moderate this section, and I really dig the color scheme (Garnet and Gold)

Karl-I am actually not from New York! Its a long story of how I became a mets fan, but I like to think the Mets are like life. Sometimes there great usually they're just so so and sometimes they can really let you down.
