Hi all,

This is by no means a review, but someone gave me this disc for the holidays:


and I just wanted to give it a plug. It's really a wonderful change of pace from the other dozen discs people got me from Djangobooks (great as they are!). I'd been a bit hesitant to order it earlier since I didn't really recognize many of the tunes; if anyone's been on the fence, it's worth every cent! Check it out at the very least. As a bonus, it seems to work well for wooing the ladies-Dorado would be proud, I think!

there's an ancient high-pitched gypsy aphrodisiac chant that many modern gypsies use to woo women. it's not audible by the conscious mind. it is the audio equivalent of pheromones- only women are sensitive to the sound. many a gypsy can produce the sound without opening his mouth.

I think the important thing is that nowhere on the disc do Minor Swing, Les Yeux Noirs, Nuages, etc. make an appearance...so I suppose I had the element of surprise on my side. I'm sure she's wise to me now.

I want to let you know that I usually achieve the same effect with the LP you see below:

No "Minor Swing"
No "Les Yeux Noirs"
No "Nuages"

That´s the secret.
