For playing this lick at faster tempos, try fingering this pattern like Example 7.3, pg 43 of Gypsy Picking. It will sound good on either Bb6 or Gm.

    Hello Kohno,

    The fingering you are using is just like the one in Gypsy Picking I was referring to. When I first figured out the lick, I had no idea about "Gypsy" Fingerings...I just went for it and this is how it came out. I still like it for slower tunes, or rubato style playing. But for the uptempo stuff you should do it like you are.
