Speaking of which...
Louis Shepard is hosting a jam session Sunday, February 17, 2008, from 2-6 PM at the Waterworks Whitehall Building, 2420 Beacon Street, Chestnut Hill, MA. 02467. We have use of the Library on the lower level of the building to the left of the main entrance. You'll know Whitehall (it's white) by its huge Renaissance Revival facade and Roman arches. BYOB, light refreshments. The space has been converted into a large community room, very comfy, with mini-bar, couches, the works. Great place to come hang out and get to know one another.
Please RSVP to Lewis Shepard, <!-- e --><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a><!-- e --> or 617-232-1130 for information about parking etc. Repertoire will be, of course, Gypsy Jazz and Swing. Bring your own favorite music, or play by ear (or thumb.)
