JSP & Integrale

I know that the Integrale collection is the 'real thing,' but if you haven't been collecting them as they come out, they're a pretty steep investment. By contrast, the three JSP sets are (obviously) not so comprehensive and don't have the rich liner notes, BUT, they're inexpensive and the recording quality seems very good.

Now my question is, how do the JSP recordings compare to the Integrale recordings of the same track? I've got the first two JSP sets and I'm just about to get the Rome sessions, but I'm curious as to how these compare.

The JSP recordings generally have considerably better sound quality than those from the Integrale series.

i'm using the unaccomp. django book, but i've no idea what some of those works sound like. integrale is way expensive for me right now. does anyone have a cd compilation or mp3s of the pieces in the in book?

The solo version of Nuages can be found at DjangoBooks.com. Several of the other solo pieces are on the first JSP set, which is a great bargain in addition to having great sound. The video version of J'attendrai is here:

For the others pieces I know of no other legal option than the Fremeaux.
