Tuners/tailpice needed on Cigano?

pault86pault86 College Station, TXNew
With all the great comments on the Cigano GJ-10 oval hole's tone and playability it looks like the obvious pick for a first GJ guitar. I would get Josh's full set up - fret work and bridge - but is there any need to do tuners and tailpiece?

If you'd upgrade the tailpiece is the Asian made DR enough or does it need the Dupont?

The upgrades cost almost as much as the guitar. If it's fine I'd rather not mess with success.

Elderly has pictures of the Cigano here: http://www.elderly.com/new_instruments/items/GJ10.htm

Thanks,
Paul

I tried muffling the tailpiece and could not detect any difference. I don't notice any thing wrong with the tuners. I filed the bridge down on the first 3 strings and filed the frets lower because I don't like them up high. I have nothing to compare to but the bridge seemed to be about as light as it could be made the way it is hollowed out. I just got the base model.

We have been quite happy with our GJ15 right out of the box. Well, maybe it's a little better with Argentines!
