Hello Everyone,
I've seen this Busato guitar for sale on the website of Eimers Guitar
http://www.eimersguitars.com/busato.html Can anyone tell me more about the background of Busato guitars? Are they very rare? Is the Guitar really that good compared to a Selmer guitar?
Is it worth the money?
Thanks,
Greeting's James.

To answer your questions
- they are pretty rare
- allegedly louder than Selmers, Busatos are sometimes described as the next best thing to a Selmer
- are they worth the money ? Who knows. Is a Selmer worth $30,000 dollars ?
For a better idea about costs of Busatos currently available have a look here

Note also that the French maker Maurice Dupont has "resurrected" the Busato name by introducing a line of guitars based on old Busatos.
Cheers
Alan
I'm interested in buying one... it's really a lot of money but hope to get a good guitar!
I'll give Leo Eimers a call to get some more details about the background of this guitar...
