If your going to try putting nylon strings on a steel-string guitar, use as high a tension as you can buy. You'll need all the tension you can get to keep the floeating bridge pressing into the top. There's a reason that classical guitars have a fixed bridge. Even Selmer used a fixed bridge on the nylon string d-holes (the Concert model).
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.
