Ashdown Radiator Acoustic Amps

Per the subject line, has anyone tried them, in particular with amping a Gyspy Jazz archtop?

If so, any feedback? (Meaning, your opinions, not how much amplifier feedback  )

I owned one (acoustic radiator 2) and it runs too hot when you use the regular input jack on the front of the amp. If you bypass the power amp with a preamp (via a rear input like aux in or something) it would sound great. That said, your probably better off picking a more acoustic amp. Also keep in mind that your pickup will influence the sound dramatically.. Some amps are better with piezo's vs soundboard transducers and vice versa. Michael has a killer post about amp/pickup combinations.
