Looking for a smaller gypsy guitar as a backup or for traveling. $300 or less. Something like this:

Not gypsy, but I played one of the new Taylor Minis. They sound and play great (much better than the Baby Taylor) and are about $449.00 with a gig bag. You may be able to pick up one used. I have a Martin LXK2 Little Martin (with the HPL Koa body and top), strung with flatwounds. Great travel guitar. It was about $249.00 from memory. Also have an Aria G-Uke (tenor uke body with a short scale 6 string classical guitar neck). About $149.00 on e-Bay. So small, it fits under the seat on a plane. Only seen one mini GJ Guitar, made in Germany. It was on the local Craig's List for about $800.00. Looked pretty cool. Good luck. You maybe someone will come up with a small european guitar, with a tailpiece and silk & steel strings (like the one posted).
    Swang on,

If you're willing to spend 8 times that, there's always the Eimers Mini Mac!
