Modern gypsy jazz on a Favino style guitar

First: i never tried a favino style guitar. But i really like the sound of them.
I like to play a lot of modern lines (Bireli, Moignard and Gonzalo), and i was wondering how the playability is on a favino style guitar, if it is possible to play bebop stuff on it? I know Boulou and Bireli does, but they are, well, Boulou and Bireli...
To be specific, i´ve been lookin at a JWC favino. Anyone tryed it?
Any other suggestions for a modern sounding guitar, which is affordable?
