Galli Strings

I’m looking at Galli Gypsy Jazz strings, 10 gauge. I’ve used the green pack before (GSL10)
there is also 10 Gauge that come in a pinkish color pack called GSB10. Anyone out there know the difference?

The GSB are silver plated cooper:
The GSL's only come in ball end but you can get GSBs in both ball or loop end.
Good timing on this post as I've been pondering Galli silk and steels and wondered about tension and intonation... I dug through the forums and it sounds like the equivalent gauge of GSL to argentines will be lighter? I.e., GSL 11's don't have as much tension as your 11 gauge argies? Curious to hear the difference if anyone has done a comparison video.

I may try the copper on my cedar top M01-F
if they are, as I am imagining, brighter? Because my cedar top is a bit darker, maybe it’s the F-holes maybe it’s the Cedar, could be a good combo though
Generally an 11 gauge set of silk and steel strings feels like a 10 gauge set of silver plated copper strings. Of course, the unwound strings are the same, it's just the wound strings feel different.
Yes, silk and steel is very different in feel and sound. Silk and steel sounds darker, with less overtones and a stronger fundamental. They're great for overly bright or wet sounding guitars. They also feel slinkier.
The Dutch Gypsies have traditionally favored the silk and steel strings. Back in the 90s, Fappy and the Rosenbergs used these:

@MichaelHorowitz what's the difference between the VO27's and the GSL11's?
The GSLs are coated so they last longer.
