Seeing the news of Jon's passing led me back to this thread. Sounds like a Jon solo album was "in the can", but he wasn't happy with the sound recording quality. I, for one, would love to hear something like that. His youtube solo vids are great! Hope @juanderer got his lesson in...

I did! It was lovely. We spent about 20 minutes or so over the scheduled time just chatting and geeking out about Tchavolo and Samson Schmitt.
