There has to be audio of him playing a GJ guitar somewhere, doesn't there?
I'm not even talking about him actually playing in the genre, although that may exist...I just mean him doing his thing this on this type of guitar build?

Not sure about that, but I was surprised to run across Al Dimeola playing one on YouTube. Wasn’t adjusting his technique or anything , but Sounded alright
Hey thanks, sweet moment seeing the two of them together, hadn't seen that. Hadn't ever heard the 4 guitar "Meeting Of The Spirits" for that matter either!
I was there! Later in the workshop he played with Denis Chang. The workshop was organised by Stephane Wrembel and included a concert at Carnegie Hall with Stephane, Al and Stochelo recreating the Friday Night trio

At the beginning of the video @ 00:30 he plays " in a sentimental mood " duet with Stephane
They also play tiger rag at the end of the video though on an ovation guitar
There's no audio that I'maware of but I'm sure Allan Holdsworth owned a Maccaferri guitar and he recorded several tracks on it

I'll have to find that.
Hey thanks for posting that!
Laurence Juber owned a John Le Voi 12-fret oval hole for awhile.
Paul Yandell also had a Le Voi!
