@nomadgtr yeah, I think on Jimmy's Bar he's thinking, or wants us to think in terms of half tempo. But didn't see that thinking necessary for Artillerie L which is already a medium swing.
I often count in smaller sub divisions of time as the tempo speeds up, and count in greater sub divisions of time as the tempo slows down. This helps me stay in the goldilocks zone, so that I don't feel like I'm getting thrown off a wild horse. Like neo at the end of the matrix.

Most physical metronomes don't go faster than a little bit over 200, so these half-speed settings may be more practical (or at least more familiar).
I think its a typo, because babik is at 320bpm. if this was was have time, then the tune would be the greatest shredder of all time.
I imagine the quick ending, for the sake of it being a backing track, is a practical choice, not a creative one.

Sebastian Giniaux was putting a big stress on that at DiJ and I heard Hal Galper say the same.
cool. I really liked a few Hal Galpers videos on youtube.
Thanks for pointing out the PDF. Hadn't noticed it :)
I am getting mine printed out and spiral-bound to use as a traveling reference.
I put mine in ForScore on my iPad. That app is super handy for charts, etc.
