Nice album, listened to it today. Fabulous singer on Smile.
Leila Duclos & Eva Slongo are both on the album, but I think the vocal on "Smile" is by Liane Foly.
I found this nice live version of "1940" - second half of this video: at 3'42"

Yes, the notes on the CD confirm that is Liane Foly on Smile.
Leila Duclos is responsible for the Ella-ish scatting all over Les Yeux Noirs,
I believe Eva Slongo is on the old 'Nelson' and probably the vocal on Eva Swing.
