Correction--I stated earlier in this thread that I play the "guitar part" for the head (as written in the Django Fakebook) but I now realize that I play the "violin part". As I hear it in the original version, Steph is playing the melody while Django is playing the harmony. Interestingly (and it may be cause for another thread), I once heard that in the early days of the Hot Club, Steph played all the heads. That may or not be true, but may be worth looking into.
