'Zone Baro' a little homage to Gypsy waltz genius Pierre 'Baro' Ferret (aka Ferré) using a couple of patented Baro licks. The first section has a dark Baro-que ambiance and the 2nd section is much brighter utilizing some sweep arpeggios.
HI Stu, trying to figure this out by ear, but would be great if you can share a basic transcription or chord pattern, as unable to see your left hand on the video.
Thanks to you all.Glad you like it.I actually don't write tab because i just read notation but if you give me a week or two i can write it out with notation. Those arpeggios are A7 AND E7 in the first position which Baro liked to do because the tension of the strings is so nice and tight there.Anyway i will try and supply a chord chart later in the week. Thanks again for your nice comments.Stu
Well you may not know but i was friends with Steve and we both shared a love for Baro's music. We used to play duos at Le Quecumbar, it fact there's a video of us playing Boulou's ''De Moscou a Odessa'' on YT if you want to do a search.Cheers Stu

of course you could use Audacity and slow it down which is what i have done with Baro's waltzes. - the notes aren't difficult just the speed.Stu
Thanks Stu...cheers!
Beautiful, Stu! It reminds me of some of the late Steve Aston's Baro-inspired compositions.
