@billyshakes music business always sucked for the artists. It's incredibly amazing to me how that business always managed to generate so much money with so little going to those who created the product. I don't know if there's any other business that's so lopsided.
I hope I'll tour someday. I'm not ready and wouldn't want to do it now. But someday yes. I played just about every dive bar and punk rock club in Chicago but we never got to tour. Our band got offered to tour once but the drummer said it's not the lifestyle for him and that was the end of that.
Hehe, past 3 am that night I wasn't even gonna stop for the cops!:) Just kidding of course, however stop signs in Italy are interpreted quite differently here than in the U.S., nobody gets a ticket for a rolling stop sign
Thank you for tuning in Bill:) the driving never really gets to me, I've been now doing this for many years and found my strategies but of course, it's good to stay on guard and not get over confident. When we tour I always make sure we have hospitality covered before hand but yes, there are times we also go home even if it's a longer drive, for example in Switzerland, so we can start the day at home the next day:)

Give me a decade to get the kids out of the house, but before the grandkids come trickling in. 😂
@billyshakes We will both be undesirable sooner than that.
Yes, I consider myself extremely lucky, but finding the right bandmates took several years. Thanks for tuning in Ronald:)

Yes, it's all a delicate balancing act, however it helps being a trio with no upright bass:)

Oh my...I suppose there's always some degree or risk in anything. We are quite the seasoned vets but it's always a good reminder to not get distracted
